Job Description

NEW Assistant Professor - Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) Opening A well-respected private college in the Northeast is seeking an experienced nursing educator to join its Graduate Nursing Program as an Assistant Professor of Nursing. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty opportunity for a candidate passionate about graduate nursing education, student mentorship, scholarship, and curriculum development. This is an onsite role. The selected candidate will teach DNP-level courses, advise graduate nursing students, support accreditation efforts, and contribute to the continued growth and success of the nursing program.

Key Responsibilities:
Teach graduate nursing coursework across fall and spring semesters Advise and mentor graduate nursing students Participate in accreditation and program assessment activities Support curriculum development and course implementation Engage in scholarship, research, publishing, and professional development Serve on department, school, and college committees Maintain regular office hours and student support availability
Qualifications:
Doctorate in Nursing or related field required RN licensure in Massachusetts required or eligibility to obtain licensure Graduate degree in nursing required 3-5 years of nursing experience in a related specialty area Prior teaching experience in a nursing program preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and student engagement skills
