Position Description The Clinical Instructor is responsible for teaching primarily in the clinical and laboratory settings and the classroom; incorporates evidence-based practice into teaching activities. Salary Starting salary depends on years of demonstrated teaching experience, degree, and the evaluation of the program director. Required Skils This role requires demonstrated knowledge, competence, and experience as a direct care provider and clinical educator in a specialty area of practice. The role requires excellent organizational, written, and oral, interpersonal communication skills. This position reports to the Director of Education. Qualifications Current licensure as a registered nurse in good standing in the practicing State Experience in a nursing practice role Experience in a clinical teaching role Documented effectiveness in collaboration and communication Experience in higher education including teaching, simulation instruction, and program review or assessment
