Job Description

State Technical College of Missouri is accepting applications for an instructor to start in July 2026 within the Practical Nursing Technology program. This is a full-time, 9-month annual contract, exempt, and benefit-eligible instructor position.
Required Qualifications:
Required qualifications include a current undisciplined license to practice professional nursing within the state of Missouri with minimum of five years of experience in the Nursing field; a bachelor's degree in nursing with a clinical component; as well as excellent communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications include teaching/training experience and five or more years of related work experience in one or more of the following areas: medical-surgical nursing and nursing care of children.
Job Responsibilities:
This position would instruct and develop courses that may include the following topics: nursing fundamentals, nutrition, medical-surgical nursing and nursing care of children. Student advising is also a key responsibility.
