Job Description

Classification Regular Minimum Pay $89,517.00 Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Health Professions division is seeking a full time C.N.A. Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance. Teach with excellence a full range of C.N.A. and Medication Aide coursework. Participate collaboratively in curriculum review and development, outcomes assessment, advisory council activities, projects, and other department or College activities. The Instructor will also serve as the Program Director overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Associates degree in Nursing 2. Current RN license 3. Current CPR certification 4. Must comply with recommended immunizations and drug testing for clinical participation. 5. One year of full-time teaching C.N.A. courses OR One year of full-time supervising C.N.A. staff AND One year full-time clinical nursing experience for a total of two years of full-time related occupational experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Higher Education/Community College teaching experience preferred
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
1. 232 day, 12-month contract 2. May include day, evening, and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses 3. A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process 4. Position is contingent upon MCC Board of Governors approval. 5. Hiring process includes background check.
