USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub app The University of New Hampshire School of Nursing invites applications for a Clinical Assistant/Clinical Associate professor of nursing in the Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program. This is a full-time faculty position that reports directly to the Director of Nursing, in the College of Health and Human Services. This non-tenure track, full-time faculty position is expected to provide academic instruction primarily to students in the online Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) program. Duties/Responsibilities Teaching in the AGACNP program, may teach in other programs as required . Assisting in the development and evaluation of curriculum. Maintains active licensure and certification in nursing and the advanced practice specialty, as appropriate . Participating in on-campus and virtual student intensive learning experiences associated with the Nurse Practitioner program s . Collaborating with other faculty in the planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating curriculum, program policies, assessment, and admissions. Contributing to clinical placement team processes, including assisting with recruitment/relationship building of clinical sites and potential preceptors. Participating in the governance operations of the School of Nursing which may include serving on committees for the school, college or university. May include remote clinical supervision of graduate nursing students.
Minimum Acceptable Education & Experience:
hold a doctoral degree (DNP, EdD, PhD) in nursing or education and hold advanced nursing practice certification as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. B e eligible for a NH nursing license Have 2-4 years of graduate nursing education experience. Ability to work effectively with a culturally and academically diverse student population Must be able to work independently and effectively interact with a wide array of parties at all levels (students, faculty, administration/staff, external constituents) Strong written and oral communication skills Proven dedication to student learningRequired Licenses & Certifications :
Advanced nursing practice certification as an Adult Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Be eligible for a NH nursing license Preferred Qualifications Experience working with college-age and non-traditional students. Skill in working with culturally diverse constituencies in the academic environment. Ability to cultivate external relationships with community leaders, institutions, and stakeholders. Experience teaching via online learning management systems Demonstrated ability to work with faculty, staff, and students as well as community groups of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, sexual orientation, disability and ethnic backgroundsApplicant Instructions:

$ 80,000-$100,000 The rank of the selected candidate will depend upon the candidate's qualifications.
