Job Description

About SisuCare Education SisuCare Education is a leading nursing assistant education provider, focused on expanding access to healthcare careers through innovative training programs. We are excited to be expanding into New Hampshire. As we scale, both clinical site partnerships and instructor quality are critical to delivering successful outcomes. About the Role SisuCare is actively seeking dedicated and passionate LNA Instructors (LPN) to join our growing team of nursing faculty across New Hampshire on a contract basis. This is a unique opportunity to inspire and train the future workforce of Licensed Nursing Assistants (LNAs) through our innovative, hybrid training program. As an LNA Instructor (LPN), you will deliver skills lab and/or clinical instruction under the general supervision of the Program Coordinator (RN). You will play a vital role in ensuring that all training is conducted in strict compliance with New Hampshire Board of Nursing (BON) Administrative Rules (Nur 700) and federal OBRA regulations, supporting students in achieving competency for safe, entry-level practice within the state-mandated 100-hour program structure. We offer flexible scheduling options (Cohort Assignment-Based) to complement your lifestyle and professional commitments.
What You'll Do:
Deliver engaging in-person skills lab and/or clinical instruction in accordance with the NH BON-approved curriculum. Bridge the gap between digital learning and physical practice by aligning your instruction with our asynchronous online theory modules. Ensure students complete the mandatory "First 16 Hours" of safety and resident rights training prior to any direct patient contact. Demonstrate and supervise skills performance using the Excel Testing clinical skills checklist, ensuring mastery before clinical placement. Maintain strict student-to-instructor ratios of no more than 8:1 during all clinical experiences (with no other work responsibilities during instruction time). Utilize the Student Performance Record (Nur 704.11) to track, rate, and sign off on individual student competencies with accurate dates. Maintain precise records of attendance and hours, clearly separating Theory/Lab hours from Clinical hours to meet NH requirements. Emphasize and reinforce strict infection control, body mechanics, and resident rights as defined by the NH LNA Program Evaluation Crosswalk. Participate in NH Board of Nursing on-site survey reviews, audits, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
What We're Looking For:
Current, active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in New Hampshire or a compact state without restrictions. Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience. At least one (1) year of experience in a nursing home or chronic long-term care setting. Completion of a 12-hour Board-approved "Train-the-Trainer" program or equivalent instructional experience for adult learners. Working knowledge of NH Administrative Rule Nur 700 and federal OBRA standards (42 CFR §483.151 through 483.160). Strong communication, organizational skills, and a passion for guiding adult learners. Why Join SisuCare?
