Job Description

POSITION
Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) Instructor
TEACHING HOURS
Monday to Friday-From 9 AM to 5:00 PM or from 4 PM to 8:30 PM
SCHOOL LOCATIONS
Workforce Advantage, Union City, NJ and Elizabeth, NJ
JOB SUMMARY
Create the schedules for each class approval. Provide the student with the basic nurse aide knowledge and skills needed to care for residents of long-term care facilities. Evaluate the student's classroom and clinical performance. Input the student's information into PSI's data base. Use the required items to teach: textbooks, handouts, videos, and exams from the lesson plans approved by
NJDOH. REQUIREMENTS
Nurse aide training program instructor shall: Be currently licensed in New Jersey as a Registered Nurse (RN) for at least two years. Have 1 year of experience working in a long-term care facility (LTCF). Bilingual (English/ Spanish) preferred
