Clinical Instructors - Practical Nursing Faculty

Mildred Elley, a Middle States Commission on Higher Education accredited college, is seeking full time, part-time, and per-diem Clinical Practical Nursing Instructors at the Albany, NY campus. The successful candidate will bring clinical expertise, instructional ability, and a passion for nursing education to create an engaging and supportive learning environment for students. Teaching Schedule Day, Evening and Weekend Responsibilities Supervise students in clinical settings such as hospitals, long-term care, OB, or pediatrics Provide real-time coaching, mentorship, and skill-building support Ensure students meet learning outcomes, safety standards, and professionalism requirements Collaborate with the nursing education team to monitor student progress and performance Qualifications Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution, or an associate's degree seeking a bachelor's degree in nursing Active, unencumbered New York RN license Minimum 3 years of RN experience in a variety of clinical areas Current experience in acute care, OB, pediatrics, or long-term care strongly preferred CPR certification required Strong communication and mentoring skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (local travel to clinical sites required)
