: Nursing Faculty - PRODiG+Community College Program

: Renewable, Full-Time, 10-Months This position is part of the Promoting Recruitment,Opportunity, Diversity, Inclusion and Growth Plus Community College (PRODiG+CC) program. This is an initiative supported by SUNY systemaiming to: (1) increase the number and share of excellent diverse community college faculty committed to advancing the ideals of diversity,equity, and inclusion; (2) strengthen the pipeline for retention and support of these candidates; and (3) hire qualified faculty directlyinto tenure-track positions to support the community colleges' efforts to build an educated workforce in the state. Full-time faculty position in an Associate Degree Nursing Program. The successful candidate will join a dynamicfaculty engaged in team teaching and shared decision making in a concept based, integrated curriculum. Position requires classroom,laboratory, and clinical teaching, committee responsibilities, student advisement, and other duties assigned by the Provost. This positionmay include teaching during evening hours. Teaching may involve teaching face-to-face, remote, day, evening, online, hybrid, and HyFlexcourses. This position is within the Faculty Association Union. Candidates must currently reside or bewilling to relocate to New York State at time of employment. Additionally, maintaining New York State residency will be required for theduration of employment.
Required Eligibility:
Be eligible to work in theUnited States without a visa sponsorship; Have a Master's degree or relevant terminal degree from an accredited institutioncompleted prior to start date; and Demonstrate personal, academic, and/or work experience engaging with diversity, equity, andinclusion and/or a commitment to facilitating and enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts in the campus community. Suchexperience may include, but is not limited to, an academic/scholarly track record focused on diversity, equity, and inclusion; work,volunteer/ unpaid/community service; or related experience/expertise in serving underserved or vulnerable areas and/or populations. Preference will be given to candidates who are: Current SUNY students,alumni, and/or Fellows. From a low-income background (e.g., Pell-eligible as undergraduates), were first-generation collegestudents (students whose parents have not earned a bachelor's degree), have overcome adversity, are AmeriCorps alumni, or are veterans.
Expected Hiring Salary Range:
$65,447 - $98,168.Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. As a College employee, this appointment includes NYS retirementbenefit options with a choice of a pension or generous matches to 414H, attractive Health Care options with 80% of premiums covered by theCollege, post-retirement health insurance and supportive work-life balance with paid time off, tuition assistance and ability of applicationto Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) in addition to other benefits offered by the College.
