Nurse Educator / Clinical Instructor (Per Diem) — Field Nurse Training Program AccuCare Nursing

AccuCare, a Licensed Home Care Services Agency serving pediatric, school-based, and adult clients, is seeking an experienced RN Nurse Educator to lead structured onboarding and clinical training for our incoming field nurses. This is a part-time, recurring role for a clinician who enjoys teaching and is confident with high-acuity pediatric and adult home care. About the Role You'll deliver our two-phase field nurse training curriculum on a consistent weekly schedule: Phase 1 —

Foundations & G-Tube Care:

AccuCare policies and procedures, documentation standards, and gastrostomy (G-tube) nursing services. Phase 2 —

Advanced Respiratory Care:

Tracheostomy care and ventilator management for medically complex clients. Training combines didactic instruction with hands-on skills demonstration and competency validation, ensuring every nurse is practice-ready before entering the field. Availability Minimum one day per week (consistent day preferred). What You'll Do Conduct Phase 1 and Phase 2 training sessions for new field nurses Teach and assess clinical competencies in G-tube, tracheostomy, and ventilator care Reinforce AccuCare policies, documentation, and safety standards Validate skills and sign off on competency before field placement Provide feedback and flag any nurses who need additional support before clearing What We're Looking For Current, unencumbered New York RN license (required) Hands-on clinical experience with tracheostomy, ventilator, and G-tube care (required) Pediatric and/or high-acuity home care experience strongly preferred Prior teaching, precepting, or staff-development experience preferred Strong communication skills and the ability to assess and develop adult learners Reliable, professional, and comfortable holding a consistent weekly commitment Compensation $40/hr To Apply Submit your resume and a brief note about your clinical and teaching background or contact our Recruitment Manager, Rosemarie.
