Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Nurse to be an instructor for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape future healthcare professionals by delivering engaging, comprehensive instruction in nursing assistant skills and clinical practices. As a vital part of our institution, you will leverage your extensive nursing experience to develop curriculum, supervise student progress, and ensure the highest standards of patient care education. Your expertise will inspire and prepare students for successful careers in healthcare settings, including hospitals, long-term care facilities, and community health environments. Duties Develop and deliver engaging classroom and clinical instruction for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students, integrating adult education principles and standards for certifed nurses. Design, review, and update curriculum materials to align with current healthcare standards, accreditation requirements, and industry best practices. Supervise students during clinical rotations in healthcare facilities, providing guidance on patient care procedures, documentation review, and care plan development. Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and written exams; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards by maintaining accurate documentation of student progress, clinical hours, and competency assessments. Collaborate with nursing management and academic colleagues to enhance program quality and integrate research findings into teaching strategies. Requirements Valid RN license with active registration in good standing; prior supervising experience preferred. Completed the Ohio Train the Trainer professional development to become a Primary instructor. Strong knowledge of nursing administration, nurse management principles, and healthcare documentation review processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience. Familiarity with learning technology tools and the ability to incorporate innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction. Demonstrated ability to supervise clinical activities while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and patient confidentiality standards. Join us in empowering future healthcare heroes! Pay:
$27.00 - $31.00 per hour
