Registered Nurse Certified Nursing Assistant Instructor

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Registered Nurse to be an instructor for the Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Program. Duties Develop and deliver engaging classroom and clinical instruction for Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) students, integrating adult education principles and standards for certifed nurses. Design, review, and update curriculum materials to align with current healthcare standards, accreditation requirements, and industry best practices. Supervise students during clinical rotations in healthcare facilities, providing guidance on patient care procedures, documentation review, and care plan development. Evaluate student performance through assessments, practical demonstrations, and written exams; provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards by maintaining accurate documentation of student progress, clinical hours, and competency assessments. Collaborate with nursing management and academic colleagues to enhance program quality and integrate research findings into teaching strategies. Requirements Valid RN license with active registration in good standing; prior supervising experience preferred. Completed the Ohio Train the Trainer professional development to become a Primary instructor. Strong knowledge of nursing administration, nurse management principles, and healthcare documentation review processes. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with students from diverse backgrounds and levels of experience. Familiarity with learning technology tools and the ability to incorporate innovative teaching strategies into classroom instruction.
