PM Eastern Position Summary Job Description:
The Stabler Department of Nursing is seeking to hire qualified adjunct clinical faculty with experience in Psychiatric Mental Health nursing to provide clinical instruction in the Baccalaureate degree program. Adjunct faculty are expected to instruct students in the clinical setting; provide support and guidance; and evaluate performance of learning outcomes.
Outcome:
Successful hiring of at least 1 adjunct faculty to teach an undergraduate nursing clinical for NUR428 . Essential Functions Maintains current knowledge related to clinical policies and procedures. Keeps the course coordinator informed of all student and agency issues and concerns. Serves as a professional role model for other faculty, staff, and students in the clinical setting. Evaluates weekly assignments and provides feedback to students in a timely manner. Adheres to applicable regulatory rules and standards. Experience and Education Required Licensure as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania Baccalaureate degree in nursing Graduate degree in nursing or plans to complete a graduate degree within 5 years Expertise and experience in psychiatric nursing Required Skills and Qualifications Candidates must demonstrate excellent communication skills and have a strong commitment to working as part of a collaborative team. Adjunct faculty work in collaboration with full-time faculty to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that assists students in the integration of knowledge, interprofessional communication, and development of professional values in the clinical practice setting.
