Prism Career Institute is seeking a Partner in Academic Success & Support to play a critical role in strengthening student outcomes, supporting faculty development, and advancing nursing education. This unique position combines academic coaching, student success initiatives, faculty onboarding, and professional development into one highly impactful role. As a trusted resource for both students and instructors, you will help create a supportive, student-centered learning environment that promotes retention, academic achievement, and successful program completion. What You'll DoSupport Student Success Provide one-on-one academic coaching to nursing students. Develop personalized Academic and Clinical Success Plans. Lead individual and group tutoring and remediation sessions. Teach study skills, test-taking strategies, critical thinking, and clinical reasoning. Help students overcome barriers to success while building confidence, accountability, and resilience. Partner with faculty to identify at-risk students and implement effective support strategies. Develop and Support Nursing Faculty Train, orient, and mentor newly hired nursing instructors. Promote instructional consistency and compliance with institutional standards. Support faculty development initiatives that strengthen teaching effectiveness and student outcomes. Monitor onboarding progress and assist faculty in navigating the demands of nursing education. Foster a collaborative culture focused on excellence in teaching and learning. What We're Looking For Current nursing faculty member or Registered Nurse with academic teaching experience. Strong commitment to student success, retention, and academic support. Excellent coaching, mentoring, and communication skills. Understanding of nursing curriculum, clinical education, and student learning needs. Ability to collaborate effectively with students, faculty, and support services. Experience with Canvas, ATI, Microsoft Office, and related educational technologies preferred. Preferred Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) or advanced nursing credential. Three (3) or more years of nursing education experience. Minimum Qualifications Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN).
