Position Description Advertised Job Summary The University of South Carolina Sumter invites applications for the position of Instructor in Nursing. This position is for a faculty member to teach pre-nursing classes at USC Sumter, as well as upper division courses in the USC Aiken BSN program on the USC Sumter campus. This full-time (non-tenure track) position is a nine-month appointment beginning August 16, 2026. Teaching requirements include face-to-face, distancecation, and possible evening andor weekend classes, and will normally require the teaching of up to twelve credit hours per semester or its equivalent, and amitment to universitymunity service. The successful candidate will also assist with teaching labs, simulations, and clinical groups for upper division courses, as well as assist with academic advising as needed. Masters or higher degree in Nursing; possession ofeligible for unencumbered South Carolina nursing license. License must be obtained by August 16, 2026.
