  • Generalist is responsible for assisting faculty and students in navigating the learning process in their respective program.
This position will guide doctoral project faculty and doctoral students through their project, from the proposal stage to the final deliverables. Responsibilities may include faculty mentoring/observations, advising doctoral students on their research topic, methods, and the quality of their written work. They will also help the student and faculty develop a prospectus and navigate the IRB approval process. This person will help support the faculty as they guide the student during the project and prepare them for the defense process. In addition, this person will help ensure students and faculty uphold departmental and university standards for the conduct of doctoral projects.
Requirements:
Master of Science in Nursing, doctorate preferred An active and unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee or obtain licensure in the state of Tennessee by date of hire. 3 years of teaching experience. Experience in analyzing and reporting on student outcomes to university administration. Compensation is determined based on the qualifications, experience, and circumstances of each hire. It is uncommon for new employees to start near the top of the salary range. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a tuition waiver and reimbursement program, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement savings plan with company match. The salary range for this position is $79,000 to 107,680.
