Job Description:
Conduct clinical experiences for nursing students at clinical facilities. May also include assisting with campus labs. Evaluating students' performance during clinical and providing feedback, as well as, determining if student has successfully completed the clinical objectives and outcomes. Includes grading clinical paperwork. Accurate and timely attendance reporting. Communication with full time nursing faculty students' attendance, performance, and evaluation. ​
Working Conditions:
​ Physical activities within the Registered Nurse scope of practice ranging from six to twelve hour shifts. Current/updated immunizations may be required depending upon clinical facility requirements. ​
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nursing Current, active, and unencumbered Tennessee RN license or multistate licensure that approves to practice as a RN in TN American Heart Association BLS certification Commitment to teaching and providing quality education for students. Qualities of integrity, initiative, and good judgment with high ethical standards. Ability to work and communicate effectively with individuals and/or groups. Ability to communicate effectively with students and other college personnel required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
One year experience as a Registered Nurse
