Job Description

Adjunct/part time clinical:
Days, evenings, and weekend hours available as well. Weekend and evening shift differential applies for clinical shifts. Full time classroom & clinical: Days, other hours rarely as required. Full time faculty are eligible for the following benefits: Paid continuing education, PTO, Sick Time, Tuition reimbursement, 401k, 11 paid holidays.
Nursing Experience:
Courses:
RN/AAS Pediatric Theory Course (must have master's degree) Fundamentals of Nursing (must have master's degree) Clinical instructors (must have BSN)
Qualifications:
Education:
AAS/RN:
Master's degree in nursing from a regionally accredited educational institution required. Must be graduated from or currently and actively enrolled in MSN program. Current unrestricted license to practice as a registered nurse in the State of Virginia. Current AHA CPR certification for clinical faculty. This is not a remote position.
Experience:
2 years minimum of full-time employment or equivalent in clinical nursing practice as a registered nurse required. Prior teaching experience not required, but preferred. All full-time faculty are required to teach in classroom, skills and simulation labs, as well as clinical rotations.
