  • Vancouver, WA Washington State-Approved Nursing Assistant Training Program Stardig Nursing Services PLLC is seeking a committed Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN to join our instructional team for our state‑approved CNA training program.
This role is perfect for an RN who enjoys teaching, mentoring, and helping new caregivers build strong foundational skills. Position Summary The RN Instructor provides classroom, skills lab, and clinical instruction to CNA students. This position requires compliance with Washington State Board of Nursing regulations for instructional staff under WAC 246‑841A‑430 . Active Washington RN license in good standing. Instructor Responsibilities Teach CNA theory, skills, and clinical components according to the state‑approved curriculum. Provide direct supervision during all clinical training. Evaluate student competency, professionalism, and readiness for testing. Maintain a safe, supportive, and structured learning environment. Collaborate with the Program Director on curriculum delivery and instructional quality. Ensure compliance with all WAC requirements for instructional staff. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching CNA, HCA, MA, or other healthcare students. Long‑term care, memory care, or adult family home experience. Strong communication and organizational skills. Passion for caregiver education and community impact. Must have one year of verifiable paid or unpaid RN experience within the past three years providing direct patient care to elderly or chronically ill individuals; OR Three years of RN experience at any time providing direct patient care to elderly or chronically ill individuals plus at least one year of RN work experience (any role) within the last three years. Training in adult instruction or one year of experience teaching adults . (Must take a course on hire to be certified) Must teach only within area of expertise . Must be able to supervise students directly during clinical instruction. Must ensure students demonstrate skills satisfactorily before performing them with residents.
