The Opportunity:

West Liberty University isseeking applications for an Instructor Nursing. The nationally accredited Nursing Program is a traditional four-year baccalaureate programwhich includes tracks for registered nurses pursuing a bachelor's degree and an accelerated program for those with a four-year collegedegree. This position is for a 9-month, full-time. Instructor position with teaching responsibilities related to classroom andclinical instruction, all specialties will be considered.

Education & Experience Requirements:

Requirements include recentclinical experience in the specialty area, an MSN degree with academic preparation in the specialty area, and an unencumbered license as aregistered professional nurse in the State of WV or eligibility for this license. Teaching experience and a doctoral degree in nursing orprogress toward a doctorate in nursing are preferred. The successful candidate must have excellent skills in anticipating and implementingcurricular change and the ability to work collaboratively in teams. A faculty member is expected to participate in continuousimprovement in the areas of teaching, professional development, and service to the University and community. Salary will be commensuratewith experience.
