Organization:

Facility is a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital located in Sitka, Alaska. It provides comprehensive services including emergency care (Level IV Trauma Center), surgery, primary care, behavioral health, dental, obstetrics, and optometry to residents of Southeast Alaska.

Job Summary:

Provide day-to-day leadership, mentoring, and guidance to clinic staff to improve access, streamline processes, and enhance patient experience. Identify and resolve workflow, staffing, and system-related issues to ensure smooth clinic operations. Conduct regular team meetings to drive engagement, consistency, quality, safety, and operational efficiency. Recruit, orient, train, and support the professional growth and development of nursing and clinic staff. Supervise and guide staff in patient assessment, evaluation, and treatment to maintain high-quality care standards. Ensure compliance with certifications, licenses, Joint Commission standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance activities. Oversee staffing, supplies, equipment needs, and overall clinic operations while addressing employee relations and supporting special projects.

Required Experience/Qualifications Licensure/Certification:

Associate's degree in Nursing Bachelor's degree preferred 5 years of varied clinical nurse experience including 1 year in the ambulatory care environment 2 year of supervisory/managerial experience in the health care field A valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska OR licensed in another State and obtain Alaska license within 6 months of hire Active BLS Clinical Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years Manager Competency required within 3 months of hire and every three years
