RN Unit Manager Full-Time Northgate Health & Rehab | Bessemer, AL Northgate Health & Rehab is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team. This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse who is passionate about clinical excellence, team development, and providing exceptional care in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation environment. As an RN Unit Manager, you will oversee the daily clinical operations of your assigned unit, ensuring quality resident care, regulatory compliance, staff support, and positive clinical outcomes. Position Highlights Full-Time Leadership Opportunity Monday-Friday Schedule with Rotating On-Call Responsibilities Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation Facility Competitive Salary and Benefits Career Growth Opportunities Supportive Clinical Leadership Team Responsibilities Manage the day-to-day operations of an assigned nursing unit Supervise and support RNs, LPNs, and CNAs Monitor resident care plans and ensure quality clinical outcomes Complete resident assessments and participate in care plan meetings Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Review documentation for accuracy and completeness Investigate and address resident, family, and staff concerns Assist with admissions, discharges, and clinical transitions of care Monitor infection control, quality measures, and clinical performance indicators Collaborate with physicians, therapy staff, and interdisciplinary team members Qualifications Active Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or post-acute care preferred Prior leadership, charge nurse, supervisor, or unit manager experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and long-term care regulations Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities Commitment to resident-centered care and team development Why Join Northgate Health & Rehab?
