Company Match Position Summary:
Unit Manager ( RN ) The Unit Manager (RN) is responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations of an assigned unit, supervising nursing staff, and ensuring residents receive exceptional, person-centered care. This role works closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to maintain regulatory compliance, support staff development, and promote positive resident outcomes.
Qualifications:
Current R.N. license by State required Must have at least two years of nursing experience. Previous long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred Strong clinical assessment and organizational skills Ability to lead a team with professionalism and compassion Excellent communication skills with staff, residents, and families
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day clinical care and operations of your assigned unit Supervise, guide, and support nurses and nursing assistants Ensure care plans are followed and updated appropriately Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families Participate in care plan meetings and interdisciplinary team collaboration Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company regulations Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers Support infection control practices and quality assurance initiatives Mentor and develop nursing staff to promote a strong clinical team
