Job Description
Overview Responsibilities Manages the overall operations of a clinical department in order to provide defined patient care services in a prescribed clinical setting which meets IHS's standards of quality, efficiency, and desired outcomes.
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing AND BS degree in nursing or another health related field or business. • Internal candidates promoted into this job who do not have a B.S. degree must obtain same within 36 months of date of promotion. • 3 of the most recent 5 years' experience working in a leadership role in an acute care setting
Minimum Licensure/Registration/Certification:
BLS One of the following: Current RN Licensure in the State of Alabama Current Multi State RN Licnesure in accordance with Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) for Alabama ACLS certification may be required in designated areas as determined by administration National certification in area of clinical responsibility within two years of placement into position ACLS and PALS are required to be assigned/work Free-standing Emergency Departments (FED)
