Job Description

Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and oversight of hospital operations during assigned shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ensure safe, high-quality patient care by monitoring clinical practices and regulatory compliance Respond to patient care issues, incidents, and emergencies, supporting clinical decision-making as needed Coordinate staffing across departments based on patient acuity and census, including assignments and coverage adjustments Supervise nursing and support staff, providing guidance, coaching, and real-time support Serve as the administrative leader in the absence of department leadership Ensure adherence to hospital policies, procedures, and standards Document and communicate key shift updates, incidents, and operational changes Collaborate with physicians and department teams to resolve issues and support coordinated care Participate in quality improvement and regulatory readiness initiatives Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required 5-7 years of nursing experience, with leadership experience preferred Current Registered Nurse (RN) license BLS required;
ACLS/PALS
preferred Core Skills Strong leadership and decision-making abilities Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills Broad clinical knowledge and understanding of hospital operations Work Environment Fast-paced hospital setting Must be flexible to work nights, weekends, and holidays
