CLINICAL SERVICES MANAGER - RN - HOSPICE
at St. Bernard's Medical Center in JONESBORO, Arkansas, United States Job Description + JOBREQUIREMENTS
+ Education + Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Arkansas. Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) is required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher is preferred. + Experience + Management experience in health care or related field demonstrating leadership expertise preferred. Minimum of five years in nursing. Minimum of three years experience in Home Care setting. People and team skills, articulate in written and verbal communication with all ages, especially the geriatric population. + Physical + This is a safety sensitive position. Please see the St. Bernards Substance Abuse Policy for further information. + Requires normal visual acuity and hearing within normal limits. Must be able to tolerate periods of prolonged sitting, as well as frequent standing, walking, bending, and stooping. Position involves regular interruptions and shifting priorities. Must be able to push, pull, and lift up to 35 pounds. Occasional travel is required. Must possess a valid driver's license issued by the state of Arkansas; maintain current automobile liability insurance, and reliable transportation. + JOB SUMMARY + Responsible for the coordination, supervision, and oversight of all patient care services and clinical personnel within the hospice agency. Ensures appropriate patient and personnel assignments, monitors delivery of care, and facilitates timely, coordinated referrals. Oversees ongoing assessment of patient needs and ensures the development, implementation, and revision of individualized plans of care in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices. This position also serves as a designated Alternate Administrator, assuming full administrative authority in the absence of the Agency Director/Administrator.
