The Emergency Department Nurse Manager will join a Community Medical Center with physician led governance and strong nursing councils. The Emergency Services Nurse Manager will contribute to a Baby Friendly culture and a cancer program with accreditation.

The Emergency Department Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Emergency Services. Charge nurses and staff RNs and techs report to this Emergency Department Unit Manager. The role partners with the ED Medical Director and the Trauma Program Manager and Case Management to drive results.

The Emergency Department Nurse Manager guides a fast paced department that serves varied acuity with strong EMS integration. The ED Clinical Manager supports an engaged team that includes board certified emergency physicians and skilled techs. The unit energy is focused and supportive with teamwork that keeps patients at the center.

The Emergency Department Nurse Manager advances clinical excellence through education mentoring and competency validation. The Emergency Room Nurse Leader improves quality through evidence based pathways and projects that cut delays and boost safety. Administrative scope includes staffing and scheduling and budget stewardship and physician relations in acute care.
