$46•50 AToN Center is looking for an experienced Nursing Supervisor to join our team of professionals in a residential substance misuse treatment facility. The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the staff, providing direct patient care, and ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed. The ideal candidate will have experience working with substance misuse and/or behavioral health, managing employees, a passion for providing quality care, and a commitment to creating a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.
Shifts:
12-hour shifts, set schedule Thursday-Saturday 7am-7:30pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide expertise in the management of medical and psychiatric emergencies. Provide daily oversight and supervision to RA staff. Provide direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications and treatments. Provide leadership and guidance to other nurses and nursing assistants. Ensure that all staff are following the standards of care. Assist with training, compliance, evaluations and coaching staff. Monitor patient progress, medication management and communicate treatment needs as needed. Communicate with physicians and other healthcare professionals about patient care. Document patient information in accordance with legal and company requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience working with chemical dependency and/or mental health population preferred. Maintain current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification in a classroom setting as a condition of employment. Basic physical, annual TB test, and drug screening clearance and approval. Maintain current professional RN or LVN licensure. Must be physically and mentally able to assist in an emergency situation. Punctual and dependable. High customer service skills. Proficiency in verbal and written communication in English. Computer literacy, proficiency in typing, Microsoft Office, and KIPU desired.

AToN Center is a private, ten-acre sanctuary where the process of overcoming addiction begins. We recognize that alcoholism and addiction impair a person's ability to function and can destroy quality of life. It is our mission to help each individual find recovery, while equipping our clients with the tools necessary to live healthy, substance-free lives. AToN Center is Joint Commission accredited and licensed and certified by the state of California for sub-cute detox and residential treatment. It is our belief that a "one size fits all" approach to addiction recovery can be ineffective, and that each client deserves the opportunity to experience a multitude of therapeutic approaches in order to create a treatment plan that best fits their unique needs and experiences. AToN Center is limited to 27 clients so that we can provide individualized care to all of our residents.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 45 pounds. Ability to respond quickly to emergencies and patient care needs.

$34.00•$50.00 per hour
