Automotive Description At NorthBay Health the Clinical Nurse Supervisor in the Intensive Care Unit is a transformational leader who functions as the first-line shift supervisor for the unit and has the following responsibilities: Has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, excellent nursing care according to the philosophy and goals/objectives of the organization Patient Care Services Division Utilizes Jean Watson's Theory of Caring, Relationship Based Care, and NorthBay's professional nursing practice model, supports the mission, vision, values and expectation of excellence of the organization Responsible for leadership and supervision of direct care staff, daily operations, leading the team to meet service goals, maintaining and promoting professional development Delegates care to other health care personnel consistent with their scope of practice, job description, competency Other duties as assigned Works under the supervision of the
Clinical Manager Qualifications Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of professional registered nursing. Bachelor's degree or higher in nursing required (Employees who are grandfathered are exempted).
Licensure and Certification:
Valid and current RN license by the State of California. Current AHA or AHA equivalent
BLS. ACLS
required National certification in specialty area preferred.
Experience:
Three years of acute care experience in area of specialty required. Demonstrated leadership abilities. Proficient written, verbal, and electronic communication skills.

FTE:
0.9 (Full-Time)
Schedule:
36 hours weekly
Shift Length:
12-hour shifts
