Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Nurse Manager work Monday - Friday and on call as needed to lead our nursing team and ensure the delivery of exceptional patient care across our substance use / behavioral healthcare settings. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee medical operations, foster a collaborative team environment, and uphold the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality. The Nurse Manager will play a pivotal role in coordinating patient care activities, managing staff performance, and implementing best practices aligned with healthcare regulations and organizational goals. Ideal candidates are energetic leaders with extensive nursing experience, a passion for patient advocacy, and strong management skills. Duties Manage nursing staff across various departments, ensuring adherence to nursing and clinical protocols and organizational policies. Coordinate patient assessments, medical documentation, and care plans. Oversee patient care activities including vital signs monitoring, medication management. Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of all medical records and sensitive information. Lead quality improvement initiatives by conducting audits, incident investigations, and implementing corrective actions to meet standards. Manage staffing schedules, conduct performance evaluations, and facilitate ongoing training , infection control, staff mentoring. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, therapists, case managers, and community resources to optimize patient outcomes. Skills Proven leadership experience in nurse management within behavioral health, psych hospitals, emergency medicine, or critical care environments. Extensive knowledge of medical terminology, preferrable relating to behavioral health. Strong proficiency with EMR/EHR systems. Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments including physical examinations and diagnostic evaluations. Skilled in medication management. Excellent team management skills with experience supervising diverse nursing teams working with individuals with behavioral health and substance use disorders. Ability to handle complex cases involving substance use disorders, and/or behavioral health issues. Knowledge of infection control practices. Pay:
$75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
