7:00 AM•7:30

PM Guaranteed Hours:

36

Hours/Week Contract Length:

13 Weeks (Possible Extension)

Pay Rate:

$75/hr•$85/hr (Negotiable)

On-Call:

Yes Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff during assigned shifts Coordinate daily operations within the Labor & Delivery unit Ensure high-quality patient care for laboring mothers and newborns Assist with staffing assignments, workflow, and patient throughput Respond to emergencies and provide clinical leadership when needed Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with policies Serve as a resource and mentor for nursing staff Requirements Active RN License (California or Compact if applicable) Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience Previous Charge Nurse or leadership experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications preferred Strong communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills Ability to work in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
