Critical Care Nurse Manager opportunity to guide a high acuity ICU that delivers results through compassion and precision, ideal for an experienced Registered Nurse leader who is passionate about exceptional patient care. Step in as an ICU Nurse Manager and drive clinical excellence patient safety and staff growth 🚀

This 120 bed acute care hospital serves a growing region with a full continuum of services. The Critical Care Nurse Manager will join a nursing team that practices shared governance and values evidence based care. The facility features a dedicated pediatric emergency service staffed by board certified pediatric emergency physicians and offers round the clock OB emergency coverage. A high volume childbirth center and a NICU supported by a trusted pediatric partner enhance outcomes for families and support the Intensive Care Unit Nurse Manager in coordinating safe transfers.

The Critical Care Nurse Manager reports to the Director of Critical Care Services or the Chief Nursing Officer depending on scope. Charge nurses staff RNs and CNAs report to this ICU Manager with unit educators and coordinators providing support. Collaboration is tight with intensivists respiratory therapy pharmacy and bed management to keep throughput and quality metrics strong.

The adult ICU cares for complex medical surgical neuro and cardiac patients with rapid response leadership from the Critical Care Nurse Manager. Energy on the unit is focused and supportive with interdisciplinary rounding and strong relationships with hospitalists and intensivists. As a Critical Care RN Manager you will champion safe staffing practices modern equipment adoption and teamwork that empowers new and experienced nurses.

The Critical Care Nurse Manager advances clinical excellence through competency validation bedside coaching and programs that reduce CLABSI CAUTI and ventilator events. Education plans simulation drills and sepsis bundle reliability are driven by the ICU Clinical Manager to raise outcomes and HCAHPS. On the administrative side the role manages staffing scheduling and budget stewardship while aligning throughput and length of stay goals. You will foster physician relations and lead change management that supports RN retention and Magnet principles.
