$125K-150K Full-Time | Immediate Need Schedule is M-F About the Role A busy multi-specialty ambulatory surgery center in Orange County is seeking an experienced OR Manager (RN) to oversee perioperative operations and lead a high-performing surgical services team. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong clinical leader with extensive OR experience and a passion for quality patient care, operational efficiency, and team development. The OR Manager will oversee daily surgical operations, staff performance, patient safety initiatives, regulatory compliance, and clinical quality improvement efforts within a fast-paced outpatient environment. Key Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the Operating Room and surgical services department Supervise OR staff including RNs, Surgical Techs, LVNs, and support staff Coordinate surgical scheduling, staffing assignments, and case flow Ensure compliance with AORN standards, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory requirements Maintain high standards for patient safety, sterile technique, and perioperative care Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and leadership teams to optimize workflow and outcomes Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor OR performance metrics Assist with budgeting, supply utilization, preference cards, and operational efficiency Respond to intraoperative emergencies and provide clinical leadership when needed Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 4 years of multi-specialty OR circulating experience required Minimum 2 years of OR leadership or management experience required Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing standards and surgical operations Current BLS certification required Current ACLS certification required (or obtained within 90 days) Ability to thrive in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center environment Preferred Experience Ambulatory surgery center or hospital surgical services experience strongly preferred Experience overseeing orthopedic, spine, and multi-specialty surgical services preferred Strong background in quality improvement, staff leadership, and operational management Experience with budgeting, staffing, and supply/case cost management preferred About the Opportunity This is a well-established multi-specialty outpatient surgery center offering a collaborative leadership environment focused on patient safety, clinical excellence, and operational efficiency.
