We are seeking a full-time RN Supervisor to oversee daily clinical floor operations, manage staff, and ensure excellent resident care.
Responsibilities:
Supervise daily floor nursing staff and assign clinical duties. Lead morning stand-up meetings to coordinate team communication. Update residents and families on Care Plans, PT, OT, and treatment paths. Answer clinical, care, and illness progression questions to reassure residents. Assess and adjust patient care statuses based on changing clinical needs. Conduct utilization reviews to provide timely, cost-effective care. Complete accurate, timely charting and paperwork using PointClickCare (PCC). Manage admissions, discharge planning, and external facility referrals. Coordinate benefits with financial services, Medicare, Medi-Cal, and third-party payers.
Requirements:
Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience (supervisory experience preferred). Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, and Medicaid programs. Proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC) or electronic medical records software. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and time management skills. Good standing with the California Department of Public Health. Ability to stand/walk frequently and lift up to 50 lbs. We are an equal opportunity employer.
