Full Job Description Credentials:
Active California LVN license required.
Location:
San Juan Capistrano, CA. A residential behavioral health program is seeking an experienced Nurse to oversee regional nursing operations and support high-quality patient care. This position works closely with clinical and operations leadership to ensure compliance, staff development, and day-to-day nursing functions within a mental health treatment setting.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and support nursing staff across multiple residential programs Oversee staffing, scheduling, and clinical operations Ensure medication management, documentation, and compliance standards are maintained Partner with clinical and medical teams to coordinate patient care Provide leadership, coaching, and ongoing staff development Provide on-call support for nursing and medical teams as needed Serve as a resource for nursing and medical staff as needed
Requirements:
Active California LVN license required. Minimum 3 years of psychiatric or behavioral health nursing experience Previous nursing leadership or supervisory experience Knowledge of medication management, clinical operations, and regulatory compliance Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills Current CPR/First Aid certification
Compensation:
$72,000 - $78,000 annually.
Schedule:
Full-time, exempt on-call responsibilities as needed.
