Temporary Scope:

Unit-based leadership supporting a Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and staff Responsibilities Lead the surgical unit as RN Nurse Lead, collaborating with the Nurse Manager, Director, physicians, and bedside staff. Supervise and direct activities of nursing and ancillary personnel across multiple levels, using professional judgment and supervisory discretion. Ensure patients receive evidence-based, cost-effective care that promotes positive outcomes and high patient safety. Assess patient experiences and implement quality improvement steps to enhance satisfaction and overall care quality. Coordinate care plans, participate in rounds, and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Support staffing, resource utilization, and interprofessional communication to maintain safe, efficient operations.
