Overview We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Restorative Nurse Manager to lead our restorative care programs within a vibrant healthcare environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee the development and implementation of resident-centered care plans, ensuring optimal recovery, functionality, and quality of life for our residents. As a key leader, you will coordinate interdisciplinary teams, manage clinical operations, and uphold the highest standards of nursing excellence. Your expertise will directly influence resident outcomes and foster a culture of continuous improvement and compassionate care. Responsibilities Lead and supervise nursing staff in delivering restorative services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other rehabilitative interventions. Develop, review, and update individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs, focusing on enhancing mobility, independence, and overall well-being. Monitor resident progress through thorough documentation review, patient monitoring, and regular assessments to ensure effective care delivery. Oversee compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, Medicare requirements, and state-specific nursing standards. Manage shift schedules, resource allocation, and staffing levels to ensure seamless 24/7 restorative care coverage. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—including physicians, therapists, case managers, and families—to coordinate comprehensive care strategies. Maintain accurate medical records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems while ensuring documentation accuracy and confidentiality. Conduct staff training on best practices in physiology, anatomy knowledge, medical terminology, and documentation review to promote professional growth. Oversee budgeting responsibilities related to restorative services while optimizing resource utilization. Promote leadership within the team by supervising supervising experience nurses and fostering a positive work environment focused on excellence in patient care. Qualifications Proven experience in care settings such as Skilled Nursing facilities, home health agencies, hospice care or acute care environments. Demonstrated management and supervising experience within nursing teams; previous nurse management roles preferred. Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to restorative nursing practices. Familiarity with EMR systems for documentation review and medical records management. In-depth understanding of HIPAA regulations and medical terminology essential for compliance. Experience in shift management, case management, and developing care plans aligned with resident needs. Knowledge of Medicare policies related to long-term care reimbursement processes. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment focused on resident's well-being. Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in documentation review and patient monitoring.
