Reporting to a Director of Inpatient Services or the Chief Nursing Officer, the Nurse Manager ICU and Med Surg will be backed by assistant managers, clinical educators, experienced charge nurses, and robust ancillary support; responsibilities include operational leadership for ICU and Med Surg, staffing and scheduling, budget stewardship, accreditation readiness, infection prevention, shared-governance engagement, nurse recruitment and retention, onboarding, clinical competency validation, quality and safety initiatives, patient flow optimization, and collaborative rounds with a friendly team of nurses and a diverse, high-performing group of physicians, APPs, pharmacists, PT/OT, respiratory therapists, case management, and social work professionals who value mutual respect and clear communication.
