Pierce Memorial , a highly-regarded skilled nursing facility in scenic Brooklyn, CT, is looking for a Registered Nurse OR Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team of compassionate caregivers.

Registered Nurse RN/Licensed Practical Nurse LPN:

32-40 hours/week 3rd shift 11p-7a LPN base rate $33.40/hour | $39.40/hour weekdays & $43.40/hour weekends RN base rate $45.46/hour | $51.46/hour on 3rd shift weekdays/weekends Responsibilities of Registered Nurse RN/ Licensed Practical Nurse LPN include: Overseeing and providing assistance to certified nursing assistants Providing clinical assessments and maintaining regular contact with physicians in relation to residents of a skilled nursing facility Working with the resident, family, and doctor to determine the service plan that will best serve the needs of the resident. Updating the aides with regards to the new resident, and preparing a shift by shift list of care that the aides will perform. Ensuring that the staffing is adequate to serve the needs of the residents Communicating with the resident, family, and MD on an ongoing basis as needs and plans change Administering medications and treatments to residents on a daily basis Requirements of a
