Unit Manager RN Registered Nurse Responsibilities:
Oversee resident care to promote the highest level of physical, mental and psychosocial functioning possible on assigned unit. Actively participate in the Quarterly Assurance process, including attending the Quality Assurance meetings and submission of required reports. Make daily rounds on the assigned unit to ensure resident care needs and environmental standards are met. Participate in the development and implementation of new policies and procedures based on identified needs for assigned unit. Other duties as assigned by Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Nursing and Administrator.
Qualifications:
Prior experience managing staff is preferred. Ability to work independently or part of a group. Computer knowledge. IV and CPR certified. Previous long term care RN Leadership experience is required. Minimum one year of experience working in a long term care/skilled nursing setting.
License:
Must have an active RN Registered Nurse license for the state of
