Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Baylor RN Supervisor (7:00 PM-7:00 AM) Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center - New London, CT Harbor Village Rehabilitation & Nursing Center, a respected Short‑Term Rehabilitation and Skilled Nursing Facility located in New London, is seeking a dedicated and professional Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This position serves as the RN Supervisor under our Baylor Program for the 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM shift. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong clinical competence, sound judgment, and the ability to provide high‑quality care to a geriatric population. Experience in long‑term care and familiarity with PointClickCare (PCC) is strongly preferred. Essential Responsibilities Medication administration — Administer medications and treatments in accordance with provider orders and facility policies Patient monitoring — Observe residents for changes in condition, treatment response, and potential adverse reactions Clinical documentation — Accurately document assessments, interventions, fluid intake/output, and progress notes in PCC Staff supervision — Provide leadership, direction, and oversight to assigned nursing staff during the shift Family communication — Communicate effectively with residents' families regarding care plans, updates, and discharge instructions Regulatory compliance — Ensure adherence to all state, federal, and facility regulations and standards of care Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Connecticut Prior experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing strongly preferred Proficiency with PointClickCare (PCC) Strong leadership, communication, and critical‑thinking skills Ability to remain calm, professional, and patient‑focused in a fast‑paced environment
