Responsibilities:

Planning, overseeing, and executing nursing services for residents while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Collaborating with the Nursing Director to strategize nursing service operations and emergency support provisions for shifts. Adjusting care plans in collaboration with medical staff to address emergency medical needs. Ensuring adequate relief staff availability before leaving the facility and notifying residents' personal physicians in case of significant changes in their condition or immediate medical care needs. Handle admission of new residents. Overseeing and guiding Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Certified Nurse Assistants (CNAs) in delivering quality care. Work independently with attention to detail and possess the necessary knowledge of all aspects of daily operations

Previous Experience as a Weekend Nurse Supervisor preferred Licensed Registered Nurse Current State of Connecticut Registered Nurse License At least one (2) year of clinical experience Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Long term care experience preferred HP
