Job Description
Registered Nurse RN Supervisor 11-7 Full time The Registered Nurse RN Supervisor is responsible for managing nursing staff, overseeing resident care and maintaining compliance with policies and procedures in the facility. The Registered Nurse RN Supervisor will promote resident care by developing day-to-day administration and long-term planning, guiding and developing staff, and collaborating with physicians and clinical staff to ensure that each resident is receiving the best care and service.
Registered Nurse RN Supervisor Responsibilities:
Coordination and oversight of all aspects of nursing activities of the facility Ensure that policy and procedures are followed to and the highest degree Performs accurate, thorough, and timely nursing assessments and reassessments of resident care needs in accordance with Nursing Department standards of practice Collaborates with clinical staff to develop an individualized care plan for each resident Produces an atmosphere of warmth, calm, and positivity conducive to care of the residents Coordinates and documents discharges in conjunction with the Social Services Director for residents, ensuring that the resident and family members fully understand the process Actively participates in the resolving any complaints and or grievances in a timely, and concise manner Supervises all nursing staff in administering nursing care to residents in accordance with all Nursing Department standards of practice Delegates and assigns resident care activities to staff Ensures that staff complete all tasks, report changes in resident conditions, produce all required documentation, and comply established policies and procedures of the facility and the Nursing Department Performs other related job duties as requiredRegistered Nurse RN Supervisor Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved RN School of Nursing is required Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing as an RN At least 1 year of Supervisory Experience Experience in Long Term Care as aRegistered Nurse RN Supervisor Registered Nurse RN Supervisor Equal Opportunity Employer Benefits:
