RN Supervisor Stamford Care Center Stamford, CT Job Details Part-time | Full-time $56 - $60 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Career development plan Qualifications RN License Long-term care facility experience Leading team collaboration initiatives Full Job Description RN Supervisor Stamford Care Center is seeking a highly motivated and experienced RN Supervisor to join our team in Stamford, Connecticut . As a RN Supervisor at Stamford Care Center , you will play a vital role in ensuring exceptional resident care and leading a team of dedicated nursing staff.
Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and direct all nursing staff on assigned units and monitor ongoing evaluation of staff performance and activities to achieve optimal resident care Ensure new admissions, discharges, and transfers are accurately entered into Electronic Medical Record in a timely manner Daily monitoring of the electronic medical dashboard, including alerts, incomplete UDAs, and immunization entries Conduct rounds of all residents to ensure high-quality care and identify areas for improvement Complete MDS as required for all new admissions and review resident/patient accident/incident reports, initiating investigations of unknown origin Submit accident/incident reports and completed investigations to the ADNS within 48 hours of occurrence Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1 year of experience in Long-Term Care (LTC) and a Connecticut Licensed RN Ability to work weekends (7A-7P) and/or on-call rotation every 3 weeks, with flexibility to work variable shift times Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and quality of care
