No The Charge Nurse is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective managerial skills. The Charge Nurse is responsible for: Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Developing self and team members and sharing organizational information.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

BLS (Basic Life Support) RN (Registered Nurse) Nurse Specialty•preferred

Required Education:

Bachelor's in Nursing•Required or approved psych certification obtained within 7 months of hire.

Experience:

2 year RN in an Acute Care Setting 1 year of leadership experience•
