As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of care and services for our residents. Responsibilities As a Weekend Supervisor , your responsibilities will include: Assigning duties to nurses and aides based on resident acuity and skill mix Assisting with orientation, mentoring new nurses, and providing ongoing training and performance feedback Reviewing resident conditions, performing comprehensive assessments, and intervening during acute medical emergencies Supervising the administration of medications and ensuring complex treatments are properly executed and documented Serving as the main clinical resource on the floor, communicating changes in condition to physicians, therapists, and families Ensuring nursing practices comply with state and federal regulations (e.g., AHCA in Florida), as well as facility policies Monitoring patient charts, reviewing shift reports, and auditing medical records to ensure accurate, timely entries Enforcing safety and infection control protocols throughout the facility About the Role As a Weekend Supervisor at Gulfside Health & Rehab, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families.
