Job Description
Position Summary The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) Weekend Supervisor to provide clinical leadership and oversee nursing operations during weekend coverage. The RN Weekend Supervisor is responsible for ensuring quality resident care, supporting nursing staff, maintaining regulatory compliance, and serving as the clinical leader for the facility during assigned shifts. Essential Responsibilities Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs during assigned shifts. Ensure delivery of high-quality resident care in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory requirements. Conduct resident assessments and assist with care planning as needed. Monitor resident conditions and respond appropriately to changes in health status. Provide clinical guidance, coaching, and support to nursing personnel. Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers. Investigate, document, and follow up on incidents and unusual occurrences. Ensure accurate and timely completion of clinical documentation. Collaborate with physicians, therapists, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Promote compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations. Respond to clinical emergencies and staffing concerns as needed. Serve as the nursing leadership representative during weekend operations. Qualifications Current and active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, preferably in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation. Previous supervisory, charge nurse, or leadership experience preferred. Strong clinical assessment, organizational, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. Knowledge of Florida nursing home regulations and standards of practice. Ability to work independently and effectively lead a multidisciplinary team. Schedule Every Other Weekend 12-Hour to 16-Hour Shifts Day and/or Evening Hours Additional shifts may be available based on facility needs Compensation & Benefits Competitive compensation based on experience.
