$33.37•$45.05 / hour Summary The Outpatient Cardiology Practice at the Sanctuary has an opportunity for an experienced RN Clinical Team Lead. This position requires 3 years of RN experience and the ideal candidate will have a strong cardiac background.
What will this RN do:
Lead Clinical Quality Improvement Assess annual competencies of the clinical staff Direct patient care•stress tests and coumadin clinic Patient Triage within practice, In-basket Management through Mychart Care gap closure by protocol Patient Education and follow up on discharges Responsible for providing, overseeing, and coordinating nursing care for patients within a complex department or highly procedural area; based on established clinical nursing practice standards subscribed to by American Nursing Association and in accordance with the Florida Nurse Practice Act and other regulatory standards. Responsible for the safe delivery and documentation of patient care, through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Exhibits critical thinking and problem solving while serving as clinician, teacher, researcher, team leader and professional development. Collaborates with other professional disciplines, to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery and the achievement of desired patient outcomes. Contributes to the provision of quality nursing care through excellence in customer service and lean performance improvement techniques that demonstrate positive outcomes in patient care.
Requirements Education:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors degree in nursing or healthcare field preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of Three (3) years of relevant RN experience in area of specialty required.
Certification:
Certification in appropriate specialty preferred.
PALS/ACLS
as appropriate for specialty within 90 days of employment. BLS required.
License:
State of Florida RN license.
Other:
Project management and quality improvement experience preferred. Above average communication skills. Adaptable and participative with technology changes
