Job Description

RN Weekend Supervisor Pay:
$40.00 - $45.00 per hour Job description: We are seeking a Registered Nurse/RN to join our dynamic team as a Weekend Supervisor, 16-Hour Shifts with an additional 4 hours Baylor Pay each day! Responsibilities included but are not limited to: Supervise and direct nursing staff to ensure quality resident care in compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations. Monitor clinical care delivery, providing guidance and support to nurses, CNAs, and other direct care staff. Conduct rounds to assess residents' conditions, address concerns, and ensure care plans are followed. Collaborate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care. Respond to emergencies and provide clinical decision-making for urgent resident needs. Ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care, incidents, and changes in condition. Monitor staffing levels, assign duties, and adjust schedules as needed to maintain safe care ratios. Uphold infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards. Report significant changes, concerns, and updates to the Director of Nursing (DON) or Administrator. Act as the "charge nurse" or lead authority on assigned shifts, ensuring smooth facility operations.
Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Florida. Minimum of 1 - 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in long-term care, skilled nursing, or acute care. Prior supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Knowledge of federal, state, and local long-term care regulations, including CMS guidelines. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively manage nursing staff. Ability to handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently. Commitment to resident-centered care, safety, and dignity.
