We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Med-Surg to provide strategic and operational leadership across the medical-surgical service line in Panama City, FL. This facility is an Advanced Primary Stroke Center, Comprehensive Breast Care Center accredited, and the region's only Accredited Chest Pain Center with Primary PCI and Resuscitation. It also houses the area's only Level III NICU, Pediatric ICU, and dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department.
Pay:
$105,000 - $125,000 per year

What You'll Do:
Oversee full operational performance and efficiency of the Med-Surg department Develop systems to ensure seamless patient flow across the continuum of care Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to improve patient and family outcomes Lead multidisciplinary care coordination for high-risk and medically complex patients Direct hiring, staffing, scheduling, and performance management of nursing personnel Design and implement education programs for patients and staff Evaluate and recommend new clinical technologies and service enhancements Support short- and long-term strategic planning for departmental growth and quality improvement
What You'll Bring:
