Position Description:

RN BayCare Health System is currently seeking a Registered Charge Nurse to join our outstanding and compassionate Pre-op team at Mease Countryside Hospital .

The RN responsibilities include:

Being proficient in the care of a sub-specialty group of patients utilizing effective managerial skills. Acting as a professional role model for other members of the nursing team. Professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization. Acting as a mentor and resource expert, supporting and sharing organizational information to all team members. Performing the role of preceptor and charge nurse. Why BayCare? Qualifications:

Certifications and Licensures:

BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification is required RN (Registered Nurse) license is required ACLS Certification if required by department RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification within 7 months of hire/promotion in lieu of education. Certification must be RN Professional, nationally recognized and applicable to the current primary area of practice on the approved Clinical Registered Nurse Certifications Grid. Nurse Specialty certification is preferred

Education:

Bachelors degree in Nursing, BS Healthcare related field, or RN Professional Nurse Specialty Certification is required within 7 months of hire/promotion

Experience:

2 years of RN experience is required. 1 year of RN experience in pre-op is preferred.
